Best hotel I’ve been in yet :)

Had the most wonderful, convenient solo birthday trip during my stay. The location is so perfect; the charming streets of Chania are right outside your doorstep, close to beaches too. Really great its’ near the KTEL bus station which is so handy for transport to activities, beaches or the airport! The biggest shoutout and special thanks to Thaila on reception, she had such a wonderful energy and really helped me have a special day on my birthday; going as far as to treat me to a cake which was the loveliest surprise in my room. All the other staff were really friendly too. The breakfast is unreal, so delicious! Menu items were are really good prices though I didn’t try these. Room was really clean. The meeting room is lovely, and so is the gym I ran a couple times and did yoga. Really quite and peaceful. On my last day the hotel were kind enough to let me store my luggage there due to my late flight, and they even went as far as directing me to a hotel around the corner where I could shower at no cost! Definitely returning here!

Morum City Hotel is very well located, being at a walking distance from the old Venetian Harbor and several stores. Very clean, friendly staff, and excellent customer service. Bar and breakfast also great. When I come back again, this will be my hotel of choice.

The location was perfect for us. It was a 5 minute walk to Old Town and a 5 minute walk to the bus station. Breakfast was included with our stay, the buffet had both cold and hot food options. We had pizza in the dining area and it was very good, enough for 2 of us and prices were good. The staff were excellent, very helpful.

The staff are everything

A gem close to the old town

A lovely short break in a hotel close to the old town and marina. Good plentiful breakfast, well stocked bar. Friendly and attentive staff who were aware that it was our anniversary and made us a card and cheese cake. Special thanks to Eleana in the bar for her service and conversation.

Makes you feel like home

we stayed there for a week and location was the main reason we chose the hotel. We absolutely had a great time, the staff was very polite and helpful and anyone form reception to bar/ food made you feel very welcome. We didn't have parking with our room but it was not hard to find parking at the surrounding streets. Breakfast was good and great variety every day. Location very convenient, only few minute walk from the old town.

We had a great stay in Chania at this hotel! The staff at the front desk was super friendly and helpful in recommending things to do. The staff in the restaurant and bar were also super nice. They had a really nice large buffet breakfast every morning for us. And we got a welcome drink from the bar. The hotel is really clean. And it’s in walking distance to the old town of Chania and the Old Venetian Port with lots of shops and restaurants. Also I’m walking distance to a beach. We took the public bus to Falasarna Beach which was gorgeous! And we did the day trip to Elafonisi beach which was also gorgeous but a bit over crowded. The room was a bit small but has everything we needed. We didn’t spend much time in there anyway. Would definitely stay here again! Great hotel in a great location!

Great in so many ways

Warm welcome on arrival; immaculately clean room (shame about the view from 310 and, I imagine 309 and 308 plus similar outlooks on 2nd and 4th floor) towards a workshop area) Some things just are as they are. Bed was very firm; linens very crisp and clean; towels huge and shower very powerful. Toiletries were citrus//olive oil/ honey based and lovely. Breakfast was excellent - freshly squeezed orange juice and home made granola were highlights and tea in a teapot! Access point to Old city of Chania was just a block away(supermarket on the corner). Bus station 2 blocks away. Location perfect for exploring. All staff were great, but Thalia and Samantha gave us recommendations to some of the best(and not expensive) restaurants to try. Our city break with a historical emphasis became a gastronomic adventure.
