The hotel was a great location and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem was the parking available is a little misleading. The parking is in a parking garage where everyone in the city parks (and can be completely full) that is 5 minutes walk away and costs €24 per night.

The property was really pretty. However, we did not know that there are private roads that lead to it and that you have to be a resident to drive on there. We are expecting that we will be getting a fine because of this. the parking was quite a distance away. It would have been helpful when booking to know about where the parking will be and how we would access it. we might not have chosen this property if we had known about the restrictions. Definitely not recommended if you have accessibility issues.

Perfect stay and location.
Lovely hotel, located halfway between Lago station from MXP and Giovanni station en route to Lugano. 2 nights here, very clean and comfortable, staff friendly. Well located to find restaurants and explore Como. Sadly it rained the whole time, but would return it sun was guaranteed! Wonderful coffee shop below hotel for great coffee and cakes!

Compared to rooms in Paris and Geneva, the Albergo Firenze was a nice size room and comfortable. In spite of being in the center of town and on a weekend, our room was quiet since it was in the back of the hotel. Location was excellent for what we wanted to do and see. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. Walking distance from the train station. Walking distance from the boat. Beds were super comfortable. Staff was very pleasant, professional, and accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is to improve the lighting in the bedroom with better bedside lighting for reading.
