Smell of cigarette smoke everywhere
The entire hotel stinks of cigarette smoke from the bar/smokers lounge in the lobby area. As a non-smoker, this is almost unbearable. It's disgusting. Will not stay there again.

Perfect location for all things Lucerne
Walking distance from train station. Located in a very accessible area of Lucerne. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Lucerne is an extremely walkable city. As a city though, it did not feel like one. This hotel has a bus stop right outside the doors. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lucerne.

It was so hard we had to check out and go to a different hotel because it hurt our backs. No mini fridge to keep drinks or food in no toiletries left in the bathroom.

This was a lovely hotel right in the middle of Old Town Lucerne. Everything we wanted and needed was within walking distance, including the train station. The hotel was clean and modern. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. The hotel provided us free access to public transportation. What a nice bonus.

Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, nice bed and shower. Airport shuttle service free for pick up but not for drop off. $5 per person. Restaurant was extremely overpriced, even for Switzerland. We walked out and went across the stress to the pizza place.

Aside from the hotel being average, no complaints about the hotel itself, or the staff. The rooms were nice. Clean. Roomy. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. The only downfall I had was during booking. I booked a room on the incorrect date several months in advance. I immediately realized and tried to contact hotel. Out of good faith, I booked my room for the next day. They would not refund my night. Said it was policy. I talked to several other hotels around, all of them agreed that was less than par. Just be careful when booking with them. Lesson learned.

It looks outdated on the outside, but inside it is newly renovated and very nice in the rooms. The lobby and lounge areas are still in an old fashion that is really nice.

We stayed in the penthouse. It has older flooring but the rooms were great and bathrooms remolded! Comfy beds. I really enjoyed the older style. Very clean. Almost 360° view from the balcony around the flat. If you are a large family or two couples, it’s a great older space. Kitchen, living room and a dining table.
