Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel - at least the pet friendly rooms - it was small and cramped with the beds at an angle, no chairs, no hair dryer, and the breakfast room was locked even at 7:30am. Walls were also very thin.

Good stay despite Noisey Guests on the first night
Klamath Motor Lodge never fails to deliver a reliably clean and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, when I initially checked in, the room I was allocated was between two rooms occupied by Drunken Contractors, and the noise was unacceptable. I addressed this with the front desk and they changed my room to the opposite side of the motel, which was much quieter. Later, I saw another guest leave because of the noise, and the Desk Clerk then dealt with the noise issue. It would have been better if the front desk had quietened them down more proactively.

As motels go this was quite good. The only big negative for us was the continental breakfast which was served in the small reception room with no table at which to eat. We went to Gonzo’s for our breakfast, which was excellent.

Nice location in Yreka- although road construction was going on during our trip to the motel- the room was quite clean and pleasant- Staff was quite nice- easy to walk around and find places to visit. I would recommend folks look into staying at this lodge.

We had our dog with us. Nice small grassy area for dogs. Pool looked good but didn’t use it. Laminate flooring was dirty, dusty. Just because it’s most likely where they put people with pets, it doesn’t mean the maids can just omit cleaning the floor! Humans stay there too!! The baseboards were filthy. Bedding seemed clean. So very old, chipped and dated furniture, bathroom tiles were old but shower had been redone with granite on walls. At least there was coffee and coffee pot. We slept ok. Lots of Caltrans type workers stayed there but were quiet.

Price was good, area good, free breakfast was quite good for a budget property. The only detraction was the bathtub. It appeared to have been repainted, rather than replaced or properly refurbished. We were comfortable, a/c worked well, and it was hot then!
