7 Best Nightlife in Sentosa Island

Unlike other beach bars on Sentosa which haven’t survived the test of time, Tanjong Beach Club still stands proud as one of the longest-running and well-loved party places on the island. This all in-one-venue (bar, restaurant, and club) has all the essential ingredients needed to make the perfect beach bar: sumptuous sea views, a great swimming pool for guests and a fine list of food and drinks (we particularly love their cocktails).

Tanjong Beach Club also has another trick up its sleeve which pulls in the punters: beach parties! Monthly events such as Smack My beach Up and Full Steam Ahead play host to some of the best local DJ talent and welcome a party hungry crowd that drink, dance and swim into the early hours. Great fun, but finding your way home from Sentosa after midnight? Not so much (taxis are available but in high demand).

Wings of Time replaced Songs of the Sea, a spectacular 30-minute light show using state-of the art special effects, dazzling computer-generated images, and captivating music.

Much like its predecessor, Wings of Time throws in huge fountains of water that are shot up into the night sky, illuminated brilliantly with lasers and LED lights. It's a perfect way to spend the evening at Sentosa, either to keep the kids entertained, for a romantic date, or just a spot to practice your photography skills (getting that winning shot is quite a challenge).

Most Hard Rock Cafes around the world are generally accessible via street-level. This one is a bit of an exception, as it’s located within a shopping mall (The Forum), within a resort (Resorts World), on an island (Sentosa). Nevertheless, the Hard Rock Cafe at Sentosa still delivers that oh-so-familiar classic American rock charm, with nightly live performances and plenty of vintage memorabilia hanging from the walls.

Expect the same menu as you would in any other branch, plus a few Asian dishes thrown into the mix too. Not worth a special trip alone (if you’re really craving your Hard Rock fix in Singapore, head to the other branch on Orchard Road), but definitely a good option if you fancy a drink after your live show/shopping excursion at Resorts World.

Tucked away at Sentosa Cove (southeast on Sentosa Island), this trendy spot is enough reason to visit this glamorous hotel alone. Fronting the beach, looking out to sea, Woo Bar promises a stylish purple/blue-on-white theme, laidback tunes courtesy of the DJ and some of the best cocktails you’ll find on the island.

Décor here sticks to the brand’s bold and funky design concept, with bright colours throughout as well as some particularly inventive seating arrangements such as dangling birdcages for couples to perch in with a cocktail. You can also venture outside and enjoy the sea breezes, or head along the illuminated walkway over the hotel’s big pool as the sun goes down.
