Most of the nightlife in Sentosa takes full advantage of one of the island’s main selling points: its beaches. Whilst these are all manmade, the imported white soft sand and tropical palm trees create a perfect getaway from downtown Singapore, and plenty of beach bars, clubs and lounges have popped up on the shoreline taking full advantage of the picturesque views.
A good number of these bars open from around midday with things really starting to warm up when the sun goes down and the music is turned up. Partygoers should also look out for the monthly parties held along the Siloso Beach and Tanjong Beaches. Other than sumptuous beach bars, there are also a number of child-friendly activities, including some spectacular light and water shows to enjoy.

Read moreUnlike other beach bars on Sentosa which haven’t survived the test of time, Tanjong Beach Club still stands proud as one of the longest-running and well-loved party places on the island. This all in-one-venue (bar, restaurant, and club) has all the essential ingredients needed to make the perfect beach bar: sumptuous sea views, a great swimming pool for guests and a fine list of food and drinks (we particularly love their cocktails).
Tanjong Beach Club also has another trick up its sleeve which pulls in the punters: beach parties! Monthly events such as Smack My beach Up and Full Steam Ahead play host to some of the best local DJ talent and welcome a party hungry crowd that drink, dance and swim into the early hours. Great fun, but finding your way home from Sentosa after midnight? Not so much (taxis are available but in high demand).

It's a perfect way to spend the evening at Sentosa, either to keep the kids entertained, for a romantic date, or just a spot to practice your photography skills (getting that winning shot is quite a challenge).

Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa
- Food
- Nightlife
Most Hard Rock Cafes around the world are generally accessible via street-level. This one is a bit of an exception, as it’s located within a shopping mall (The Forum), within a resort (Resorts World), on an island (Sentosa). Nevertheless, the Hard Rock Cafe at Sentosa still delivers that oh-so-familiar classic American rock charm, with nightly live performances and plenty of vintage memorabilia hanging from the walls.
Expect the same menu as you would in any other branch, plus a few Asian dishes thrown into the mix too. Not worth a special trip alone (if you’re really craving your Hard Rock fix in Singapore, head to the other branch on Orchard Road), but definitely a good option if you fancy a drink after your live show/shopping excursion at Resorts World.
Location: 26 Sentosa Gateway, #01-209 to 214 The Forum, Singapore 098138, Singapore
Open: Daily from 11 am to 1 am

Bikini Bar
- Budget
- Nightlife
A perfect example of how the name of a bar can adequately describe what to expect, Bikini Bar is a fun daytime and evening spot on Siloso Beach that draws in a steady flow of females in their swimwear. Rather than going for the exclusive ‘Miami’ vibe that many of Sentosa’s beach bars try so hard to replicate, Bikini Bar takes itself a little less seriously, with more of hippy-hangout vibe going for it created by some beach games, lively music and cheap drinks.
Bikini Bar also has a claim to fame as being ‘Singapore’s first and only Bintang bar’, with 2 bottles of the highly popular Indonesian beer going for S$16. They also do cheap margaritas (S$8) for ladies showing up in bikinis at their monthly parties.
Location: #01-01, 50 Siloso Beach Walk, Sentosa Island, Singapore
