The Sheraton in Rio can be rated “top location” and “worst location”. Its location is unique, no other hotel in Rio has a private beach and views like the Sheraton has, absolutely the best. However, it’s surrounded by a favela, you simply shall cannot walk anywhere, nowhere, from the hotel, due to its dangerous and high crime neighborhood. If you don’t mind catching a cab for just about everything, then I’m confident to say you won’t regret staying at the Sheraton
