The room was amazing. We had a one bedroom suite with a water view. Our trip to the spa was also amazing. We had the Couple's Escape Ritual.
As Hotels.com silver members we got VIP access on this trip for early check-in, a bottle of wine, a room upgrade, and late check-out.
The part that put a damper on our trip was that we showed up 2 hours early for early check-in and were told that this is only upon availability and our room was not ready. At that time I asked about early check-out as we had spa appointments that would run past the check-out time. She said we had to call the next morning. When we did call back the next morning, they said they could not give us late check-out. We told them we had spa appointments at THEIR SPA and they said they could only give us an extra half hour. I was really disappointed that they did not honor the Hotels.com VIP access, especially after we spent $720.00 at their spa - bad customer service. While I would like to return to the hotel because of the hotel itself and the spa, the customer service has me wondering if we should ever return.
