Kind of a hostel that needs work
Basically a private room with bath in a hostel. Common areas need cleaning and paint. Hallways noisy through door. Deadbolt on door didn’t work so only hook over bolt. Bed was good heat and a/c worked. No elevator and carry your own bags up.

Very disappointed in the facility. While our room was clean enough, the furniture, in particular the chairs needed to be replaced. The AC unit leaked-we reported it to the front desk. Nothing was done to repair it while we were There. The bathroom had cracked tiles the tub itself was clean but the grout in between the tiles was in need of a good scrubbing. One window in the room was painted shut ant the other did not have a screen. The pictures on line DO NOT accurately reflect the current conditions of the establishment. Parking is very limited I am glad we were able to have a spot to park the car while we were there. I would not recommend this place.

Our stay with Uniloft contributed greatly to our terrific visit to historical Quebec. Multiple places to dine are right out the front door, and walking to the old fortifications and old town are just an easy stroll down the Grand Allee. I worried about parking ahead of time, but it was a needless worry. There is limited parking behind the hotel, but it was easy and less of a hassle to park in the paid parking lot about 75 yards out the back door. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is what brought us here. The hotel is right in the heart of old downtown which was wonderful. Parking was quite limited and the front desk had to get a vehicle to move to accommodate us. People running up the stairs and partying in the hallway all hours of the night led to the lower rating.
