Chose the hotel because of the swimming pool but unfortunately it was a bit too cold to swim so had no chance to experience. Pretty nice breakfast.

Filthy disappointment
Welcome to Best Western Mayport where you enter the front lobby to a almost friendly staff member with a full frontal attack of mold and mildew. Follow the filthy stained hallway carport to a room that has surface dirt like items have been removed but not wiped down. Stay a few hours, walk out, return to find the cockroach friends racing to their next hiding spots while they think you are away. Return to the semi-friendly staff to advise of your new friends and they will not apologize, but ask for photographic evidence. Please take a photo don't try to assault their friends. Okay, I'll stop there, please don't go unless you want to pay cash by the hour. Not good, no bueno, avoid, evitar!

Not very happy…..
Our stay at the hotel was a situation where we had to flee from hurricane Milton with our cat. I’m very grateful for the hotel to accommodate pets and the staff was friendly. However; I found one of the bed to be very uncomfortable. And the lighting in the bathroom had a very unusual blue color, making for getting ready more than undesirable. And the drywall has cracks in it. Check out was easy and efficient. I will think twice before booking again.

The place is super clean and the maintenance guy was nicer than the front desk . He possibly could had been the owner took great pride in his work . One suggestion to the front desk people . Vacuum after the breakfast times . Waking up and sitting down to eat and discussing with there families about there day was made difficult due to the fact we couldn’t hear each other over the vacuum. Other than that great place I’ll stay again

Elevator didn’t work and wasn’t fixed in the two days we were there. Old building. Wifi worked great though as I had to do an exam in my room my last day. Probably wouldn’t choose this one again to be honest.

Elevator was not working, but staff was very helpful assisting us to get our bags to the 2nd floor. We were greeted daily, especially the ladies that set up breakfast and all the housekeeping staff. Not a perfect stay, but the kindness made the inconvenience well worth it.
