Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa Malta

Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa Malta

8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel in the centre of Mellieha, a small village with a beautiful church high up on the hill above Mellieha bay. Great adults pool, bar & Asian restaurant on the rooftop which has magnificent views of the church & bay. Excellent food at the Asian & Al Ponte restaurants. Staff always helpful & friendly. Local bus stop nearby gives easy access to the local beaches & further afield. Also good choice of local restaurants. Well appointed clean room with good facilities & maid service. The only negatives were - the lovely cocktail bar in the main part of the hotel was closed, the 120 bar across the street seemed to constantly have sport channels on TV so not our choice. The hotel is in two halves with the main facilities on one side & further accommodation & the bar across the street which is accessed via an underground corridor from inside the hotel, this could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues but lifts are available to all areas. Would have preferred a walk in shower rather than one over the bath. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you Maritim Antonine ☺️"

"Fantastic see view. Great choice of wines in restaurant. Breakfast is fine. Nice walking area around. The only small issue is if you wish a sea view room, you have to accept the noise from beach toad (anyway not much disturbing if to close the balcony doors), but in this case you can choose a room with pool or city view. The staff is fine. In general good stay."

"This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful."

With the possibility of prices dropping during these months, it’s an ideal time for those travelling on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a stay in Msida, you're more likely to see hotel deal opportunities on Hotels.com by checking the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where you may discover discounted rates for hotels near your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available in the app helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, so if a room becomes available or a price drops, you'll be among the first to know.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal for your stay at a hotel in Msida. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels may provide a more tailored experience and potentially greater value. When you make a reservation with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a good value.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
