Lovely onsen, with a sauna and an outdoor garden bath. Very friendly and dedicated staff, with limited English but no communication difficulties. It's a bit far from the action in Takayama old town, but there are some superb restaurants nearby.

Excellent stay. It was our first time using an Onsen and we had a good time using the baths after a long day. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and kind and gave us a ride to the station after we checked out. The location is close to the main sites. Would highly recommended this hotel.

The utilities were old-school, which added a unique charm and authenticity to the space. The staff were genuinely kind and accommodating. A nice experience ☺️ If you stay here I recommend to hire a bike so you can easily travel around Takayama!

Hôtel traditionnel ancien mais très bien entretenu avec des jolis bains en extérieur. Nous étions présent pendant le festival de l’automne et l’hôtel proposait une navette gratuite pour nous emmener et nous ramener. Le personnel était très accueillant et gentil. Je recommande.
