Bella addormentata e il principe Calaf
"What a fantastic b&b. The staff were so welcoming and friendly upon our arrival. The accomodation was immaculate and our room was very big with everything you could possibly need, including hair straighteners! The air conditioning was great, given the very warm weather It was in a perfect position just outside the city walls and ideal for walking into the beautiful town on Lucca. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay."
San Luca Palace Hotel
"What a lovely hotel and very pleased with parking. Great location, great room, nice bathroom, good breakfast, attentive staff. Loved one night stay with a cycle round the wall and 4x spritzes watching the locals go about their business!"
Lucca In Villa Lucrezia
"So glad that we booked for a ret5urn visit even prior to our first stay. It's great, rooms, location and especially the staff who are lovely. Thanks again for our second stay.."
EXE Toscana
"The hotel is located very near the autostrade and outside the walled city. Access is easy and direct. Staff were multi lingual and friendly. English was not a problem. Parking is free. Breakfast is served as a buffet and you do need to notify if you intend to partake. It is 13euros. There is a good variety, but it is the same every day. There is an espresso/coffee machine. Nothing available to order. Amenities. There aren’t any (like fitness room or pool). There are meeting rooms up from the lobby. The restaurant isn’t open beyond breakfast and they only offer the buffet. The bar is only open weekdays in the evening. There is a supermarket next door and a McDonald’s around the corner, both easy walking distance. A bit further are a couple of sit-down restaurants and a very good pizzeria. There are more pizzerias here than Starbucks in Seattle! We would stay there again. The lack of amenities isn’t important to us."
Palazzo Dipinto
"Great property!"

This duration allows you to appreciate the city's rich history and cultural heritage, including its stunning churches, fascinating museums, and charming cafes. You can also enjoy leisurely walks or bike rides around the historic landmarks and monuments, making your trip both affordable and great value for money. Prices may drop during these months, making it an ideal time for sightseeing in this enchanting city.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For your trip to Lucca, you may discover attractive savings by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where discounted rooms may be available close to your travel date. To ensure you don't miss flash sales or special promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications. The Smart Shopping feature on the app could help you compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see options if rooms become available or prices drop unexpectedly. Enjoy the possibility of a last-minute getaway with these cautious saving strategies.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find better rates for your stay in a hotel in Lucca. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more economical option.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Lucca's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further afield that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
