When booked the hotel was described as a “resort” which is why we planned the detour to its location. Upon arrival there was no staff to welcome us - a text to the number on the locked door was quickly returned with a lock box code to grant us enterance to our studio apartment. The advertised laundry facilities were not available for use, the swimming pool while open was in great need of maintenance or filtering ( both) and as such was not an attractive option for the afternoon. The restaurant featured in the ads was also shuttered. Given there is no village store we ate an early meal at the village grill next door surrounded by feral community cats and chose a quick bite off a limited menu most of which was not currently available. While the room was design well and effort was made to include higher end finishes, the kitchenette was one of the better stocked on the trip. Unfortunately there was only a twin duvet for the queen bed and no other linens to make a couple comfy at night.
