Lakes Hotel and Spa
"We have just returned home after a lovely 2 night stay here and we throughly enjoyed the visit. The staff were all lovely and welcoming especially Patrick who was the perfect host. We will look forward to returning in the future!"
The Belsfield Hotel
"Hotel was perfect location for getting to the lake and getting round the local bars/restaurants and shops. The view from the terrace was stunning and the hotel had lovely architecture. The room was ideal and lake view was gorgeous. Spiderwebs and bugs in the high ceilings were the only thing that let it down (we were staying in room 72). Breakfast had good options and majority of it was lovely. Only comment was the black pudding didn’t seem like it was cooked properly. We ate in the restaurant one night and couldn’t complain at all. I had the fish and chips and was one of the best I had. My partner had the mushroom risotto which was also lovely. But would definitely recommend and stay again"

This period offers great value for money, making it an attractive choice for anyone seeking an affordable yet enriching getaway.

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at a Windermere hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised stay and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Windermere's fantastic public transport connections, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that is still well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
