The Devon Hotel
"Had a great stay at the Devon hotel as it was impeccably clean, the staff were lovely and helpful and we also received a free drink voucher for each of us who stayed there. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Devon Hotel."
St Andrews Hotel
"Nice independent hotel. As others have mentioned the noise from the road is so loud and constant. But if you have some decent ear plugs that shouldn't stop you staying here. Great location for dinner at the Quay and free parking. O ly slight downside was having to pay £10 for a lost room card whilst standing watching them put a newpiece of plastic in the machine to allocate to room. This shouldn't really be £10 as the rooms are probably expensive enough. I'd probably stay again but mainly because of the location and parking. Staff are pleasant enough. Breakfast ok - altho the sausages were as cheap as chips."

Additionally, using the Smart Shopping tool via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see opportunities for savings on your trip to Exeter.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel’s location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay at an Exeter hotel. For those interested in a more distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a personalised touch and could offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average, and if it is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to assist you in finding a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Exeter's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations may offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
