Would not stay here-trust me.
Wouldn’t pick this as an actual all inclusive trip option. We ended up here because our flights were delayed a day and our initial resort was booked. This resort was very dated. The rooms were nothing better than a Motel 6. The water stopped working after washing our hands. The noise from the “party” was loud, the patio door didn’t close all the way and neither did the window in the bathroom. The drinks were awful. The food was worse. You get “beach access” by walking down a shady street to another resort and going to the beach. The “entertainment” is a joke. Not everything was actually included- which was confusing. Spend a few more dollars and get the good all inclusive experience elsewhere. But if you need a night to stay- still go elsewhere.

Miguel, the food and beverage manager was AMAZING. He was so attentive and hard working. Was at the hotel morning noon and night all day everyday. Drinks were bad until i discovered the gin and tonic. Beer was good. Presidente. Food was pretty good but not my taste overall. Breakfast omelettez were awesome. Room was old but clean except when the A/C unit leaked and the mini fridge froze my mango and my friends insulin.

The first room we got was a bit questionable. It had an ac unit which did not function properly (later fixed) and there was a roach in the restroom. The room itself had a light smell of mildew the whole time. The second room was much better and had neither of the issues of the first room. Dining was great just limited for vegetarians.

It was beautiful. The swimming pools were good. Te beach water was too contaminated with see weed.. The bars were OK for the price. The service in the restaurants was very bad and slow. Not enough dishes nor cutlery limited the efficiency of the restaurant. However, the food was good.

WHALA!BAVARO was great! I enjoyed my time. If you prefer small intimate resorts & want a quaint art deco-ish vibe this is the hotel for you! I loved every bit of it.Daily instructional exercises, different nightly fun entertainment, friendly bartenders and staff and all so professional and clean.I truly enjoyed myself.
