The Windsor Hotel Toya, Vignette Collection by IHG
"Incredible views!! Amazing architecture! You can’t get a coffee anywhere on the property before 10 am unless you pay for the whole breakfast!!"
Toya Onsen Hotel Hanabi
"Great place stay. Loved the tatami room with a really nice view to the lake. The Onsen was great too, pity it was closed for maintenence in the morning when I wanted to check out."
Kitutuki Canadian Club
"Very nice and accommodating. Someone smoked in our original non-smoking room, and they gave us a bigger cabin with no extra cost when we arrived."
The Lake View Toya Nonokaze Resort
"The staffs were world class, food was excellent with a lot of variety. The location can't be beat and the rooftop onsen was one of a kind experience. Taking a nice afternoon stroll along the lake was also very relaxing. The only problem was mostly the constant foul smell in our room, since we were only staying for the night, we didn't want to spend too much time worrying about it, but it did ruin our experience a little."
Hotel Cocoa
"Positives: The mountain and lake view was breathtaking. The price was reasonable for a summer weekend. The area around the property is walkable with a nice sidewalk, Parking was easy and convenient. Weakness: The bath and shower area was dated. No elevator for the 2nd floor rooms. Steps are narrow for all of us with larger feet (difficult to navigate)."
WE Hotel Toya - Dusit Collection
"Very nice hotel, might be a bit out of the way but the area is very nice Bathroom arrangement might be a bit strange for non couples"
Hotel Grand Toya
"Location location location! It’s on the water and smack in the middle of the strand! The water tours leave in front of the hotel. Great Lake views! If you come in summer they do fireworks show on the lake and you get a front row seat. Higher rooms get a better view. Rooms are clean and the staff were very nice. Meals were a set menu and good value for the price. The facilities were dated and worn and they really need to fix the lighting in the hallways as it looks dark. The onsen is quite small and could use a facelift. Unfortunately you don’t get a view from the dining hall or the onsen. Regardless I’d go back again as the hotel is good value and the staff were very nice."
Toya Kohantei
"A solid 2 points higher on a 0-10 scale than I expected, enchanting"
Toyako Onsen Hokkai Hotel
"This seasoned hotel turned out very satisfying to me. Though at one end of the beach park, it boasts a great view, with access to spacious beach front. Just as the picture of its exterior onsen spa shows, you can see the mountain at the far end of the lake. Also the check-in time is not as restrictive as some online review complained (before 6pm) so more flexible for a busy travel schedule. The staff is courteous and responsive to guests' need when they observe it. The only challenge for guests is, lack of Japanese language skills may restrict their communication with the staff. But this creates a real motivation for repeating guests to pick up some common tourist Japanese. And another possible annoyance is the residue smoke smell, if you are really sensitive which I am luckily not. So in short, I would love to stay in this hotel in my next visit to Lake Toya."

Additionally, you could use the Smart Shopping tool via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. With these features, you're more likely to be the first to know when prices drop or rooms become available for your getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a hotel in Toyako. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, better value. - Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher prices. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the locations you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually likely to be more affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
