"Friendly and helpful"
Castle Hotel Windsor
"Such a lovely hotel, close to Windsor Castle and shops. We were warmly welcomed and helped with our bags. Our room was so nice and appointed with so many personal touches. And a very comfortable bed with wonderful linens! We highly recommend a stay here and will stay again when we return."
Sir Christopher Wren Hotel
"The cleanest place ive ever stayed in. Convenient location and very good breakfast. The gentleman on reception was excellent. My room was stylish, bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom modern and beautiful. Although I had to wait half an hour for my room there was fresh lemon water and a nice area to sit and relax. My only disappointment was not being in the main hotel, as a single traveller I didn't feel altogether comfortable being taken to a separate building to find my room. I felt a bit isolated once in my room and was sad that the view from my window was just the opposite wall which compounded my feelings of being cut off. There was also a strange step down and immediate step up as you entered the building I was staying in, this needs filling in as such a nuisance, nearly tripped on way in."
Willow Court Farm
"We stayed here when visiting Legoland. It was a big hit with the kids. They enjoyed feeding the animals and exploring the farm. The lodge which we stayed in was excellent. Would definitely come back when we go to Legoland next time."
Oakley Court
"We love Oakley Court - and we're so sorry to see it become members-only for Soho House. Staff always go out their way to accommodate preferences. The grounds and rooms are lovely. Lots of thoughtful touches. The Leisure Club is in need of a make-over/update - but facilities are fine enough."
The Royal Adelaide Hotel
"Quite location, comfortable bed, helpful staff."
Holiday Inn Express Windsor by IHG
"This hotel was great in every way cannot fault it"
Charles House - Windsor
"Clean room and generally well maintained. A couple of bulbs not working in some of the wall lights. Feels a little dated, but still provided value for money. Access was easy and comms from the owners was good. (I would/will stay again)"
Park Farm Bed and Breakfast
"Parking in the private lot was convenient, room was nice and cozy, and our host was so friendly and helpful. It's located about a 35 min walk or a short bus ride from Windsor Castle. I highly recommend staying at Park Farm B&B!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Windsor
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Windsor is between January and March, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a satisfying experience that allows you to fully appreciate the city's key historical landmarks and cultural attractions, it's advisable to stay for at least 2 to 3 days. During your visit, you can explore the magnificent castle, discover rich history along the river, admire various monuments, and enjoy the vibrant shopping and dining scene, all while soaking in the friendly atmosphere that makes Windsor so charming. This trip promises great value for money, particularly for those on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover savings on Windsor hotels by checking the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For travellers seeking last-minute offers, the Last-Minute Deals area could reveal discounted rates near your travel date. Additionally, enabling email alerts or push notifications may assist in catching flash sales and special promotions. Moreover, you’re more likely to see price fluctuations and availability updates through the Smart Shopping tool, a comparison feature in the app designed to help you compare hotel prices and amenities.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, its star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more appealing rate for your stay in a Windsor hotel. For those seeking something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead you to a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Windsor's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
