"breakfast spread is very good"
Hotel Seri Malaysia Kangar
"It is an old property and looks its age but is reasonably well maintained. Staff are helpful. We had a ground floor room but right at the end of the corridor. Water pressure and hot water was not great. If you have your own transport then location is not a problem otherwise be prepared to walk ~1 km or so together to some shops. There are some food stalls nearby but are open in the evening."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kuala Perlis
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly period to visit Kuala Perlis is between September and November, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For an enriching experience, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully explore the area's significant landmarks, cultural sites, and natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy attractions such as the local marina, vibrant seafood markets, and charming small-town atmosphere, all while appreciating the friendly people and engaging in family-friendly activities. This trip promises to offer great value for money through affordable dining and shopping opportunities, making it a worthwhile destination for those on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Kuala Perlis, you may start by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where discounted hotel rates are often available close to your travel date. It’s advisable to enable email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to keep informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you’re more likely to seize opportunities to save. Additionally, Smart Shopping, an app feature, allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you stay updated on availability and price drops for your preferred accommodations.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you potentially save on your stay in a hotel in Kuala Perlis. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we'll recommend alternative dates that may be more affordable, helping you to secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Choosing accommodation closer to key attractions or city centres often offers convenience, but it usually tends to come at a higher cost. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You may also explore independent hotels situated further out, which can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
