Very clean room and great central location. Our rooms were amazingly quiet despite all the hubbub outside! Mustafa and Iustina and the whole team on the front desk were super friendly and helpful. They also helped us arrange airport transfer and our driver Mahmoud was great. Would definitely recommend!

We are leaving the hotel very satisfied with our stay. The location is incredibly central and getting anywhere is very easy. There are plenty of amenities in the surrounding area. During our stay, we made an incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful friend, Mustafa is a great guy. Youstine is also cheerful and helpful. We wish the breakfast was better, maybe they could improve that.

This hotel in new and fancy, in a great, walkable area, but the best part is the great people who work there! Mostafa and Youstina were great helping with tour and appointments. They really made our stay special! When we return to Cairo, this is DEFINITELY where we will stay! They make everything so easy and comfortable. 2 notes: the elevator does not go to the 1st flor. And it is a little confusing to find.

Wow, did we enjoy this hotel. The location was incredible if you enjoy being amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy city. The breakfast was great and filling. The room was spacious and clean. But by far, the BEST thing about this hotel was Moustafa. We’ve never been so excited to come back to the hotel from a day out exploring before because we knew he would be there, waiting to ask how our day was. He was so smiley, warm, kind and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of recommendations and was very flexible with the things we needed. Adtham, Summer and Foustina were also lovely. But truly, Moustafa was one of the best parts of our trip.

So far this was the best hotel I stayed in Cairo(stayed in another 3 before that). Property is new, room was comfortable and clean. The first day the breakfast was good but second day it wasn't, as they change it every day. Internet wasn't good as it kept dropping off all the time, but it seems it's the issue in all of the hotels. Staff in reception is friendly especially Mustafa Mohamed and Mazen, they were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location.

First and foremost a great stay mainly due to the staff fixing any issues at first encounter. Youstina and Mostafa especially made our stay. With their helpfulness, friendliness and even check ins through WhatsApp. They even offered to save some breakfast for us, when they noticed we hadn’t eaten it. There were some issues such as the hotels.com address leading us to the other hotel in the branch, we booked a double bed but got two single beds, lack of smaller towels after cleaning one of the days But as soon as we made them aware of these - they immediately escorted us to the right hotel, fixed the bedsituation and brought the towels. Overall a great stay and great location. And a luxurious room

I stay for three days in the sama Hotel and nothing was bad, but when I tried to extend the reservation there and I asked for the price how much should be the charge for the night they give me the price more than Expedia reservation that’s what I don’t like. We had a wonderful 3nites stay at the end of April 2026. The staff were attentive and kind. The location is excellent, in front of quiet alley with several cafes. The hotel entrance may be a bit off putting, but once you walk up one flight of stairs, Sama Hotel Sherif Basha lobby awaits you behind glass doors. Newly renovated one floor hotel. Be sure to select rooms with windows on the alley side or main street side. The windows are well insulated from noise. The location is only blocks from the other Sama hotel that is in the square, which is much more noisy. So many restaurants, shops and cafes to choose right in the neighborhood. Access to Egyptian museum and the Nile river is faster on foot than Uber, due to high traffic congestion. With that said, Uber is great since it is abundant and very very affordable. We love this location and the hotel is EXCELLENT. Breakfast is limited but fresh and basic. So many eateries around that we save our tummy for the street food. Can't wait to return to Cairo.
