I truly enjoyed my stay at the Tillary. This was my second stay at the hotel. I was met at the door by Roberto who greeted and helped me with my luggage. I was then helped by the front desk staff of Brianna and Jalissa who helped me figure out my options around. They were friendly and patient. I enjoyed my floor and room which were clean and spacious. All in all a great experience at a good price.

When I go to New York , I choose hotels based on the location and the ease that I will have getting around. This is a great hotel if you need a home base , a spot to sleep and keep your items.

There was nothing amazing except the location. There was something on the ceiling above the bed. There was very little lighting in the room. There was one washcloth in the bathroom and the towels were thin. The service at the T Room was passable. The restaurant closed early on a Saturday during the holiday weekend. If I were staying for more than one night I would have complained.

The room was small and the front desk attendant was very nice, but there were a group of men constantly hanging around smoking weed, either outside the building or inside in the hallway. Also you can hear everything going on outside the room in the hallway. Walls are very thin. It was “inexpensive” for Brooklyn but not inexpensive enough.

I love the Tillary and I’ve stayed here a couple of times. The staff members are lovely and will do their upmost best to accommodate you and your needs. The hotel is in a good location - walking distance to shops, indoor food market, train stations.
