Perfect location, great service & lovely hotel. Great variety for breakfast too. Only downside is that due to the wooden structure of the hotel it’s very noisy at night you can hear people walking around and closing doors etc

Although the structure is a bit dated, it is a nice hotel to spend some days. With very friendly staff, clean rooms and a good pool area to relax. The only item I would suggest an improvement is the bed: it is hard, even for Thai standards. Oh, and the location is great! Silent, not far from the pier, and lots of restaurants in the nearby.

Super uncomfortable bed. Rust on the mirror and shower. Really really dated rooms. Pool was ok but only 5 or 6 sunbeds for the whole hotel. Good location.

Great location but slightly disappointing hotel
Hotel location was excellent but the photos gave the impression it was more modern whereas it was in fact quite basic and old fashioned. I believe the hotel has all the makings of a superb place to stay but is in need to a refurb to modernize it sufficiently to meet a four star standard. Staff however were friendly and the location made up for any of our minor disappointments

Watch out, staff accuses guests of stealing!
Staff were rude at check in and check out. They accused us of stealing towels and a teaspoon upon check out, so rude. Charged 30 bath for a really bad quality teaspoon. Bathroom was not cleaned 3 out of 5 nights.

Location and staff are very nice. But Hotel need to rebuilt their rooms, very old. Floor is made of old wood and it become very noise at night with people walking outside. Wifi is terrible, doesnt work at all.

Banyan Villa
This was our fourth stay at Banyan Villa and we hold the place close to our hearts. The pros: great location, super friendly staff, large rooms with nice balcony to the garden, good pool, very quite. The cons: very dated. Rooms need a facelift asap. Furniture etc. still a good place to stay in phi phi island !

Tired but tidy
Fab location 2 mins from ferry and in the quieter side of the at but still lovely Lovely gardens and pool area but only 6 sun beds so you have a problem about 4pm when everyone comes back from their day out to cool down However rooms are very tired And not as clean as first appeared Patio doors slide to open and the way to secure is a little hook - ok fine but the whole two doors can slide fully either way when locked so you simply slide them together and walk in! Large single beds comfy and good linen on the beds Water daily and can replace towels: sheets Kettle didn’t work kept fusing out and cutting off so held the button down Overall some lovely things about the hotel but also some care needed in rooms to bring them to life again It had better reviews than many left available and overall nothing prevented us enjoying our stay
