Pros: staff did help with getting the TV to function. Cons: bed was uncomfortable, the drain stopper in the tub did not function; had to manually hold it down to drain tub after shower.

with all the rain in the northeast in july, the room was backed up to a hill side that clearly caused water to come in the bathroom, they had towels down, and the door was rippled. I did not walk on the floor without shoes on.Also the stained bed spread should be replaced. not the room I originally booked online. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

The smell was so bad I couldnt' sleep
The woman running the place was very nice and perhaps she tries her best. She said the maids are vaccinated which is important. The room seemed relatively clean. But it smelled horrible and I honestly couldn't sleep. It was supposedly a nonsmoking room and it smelled like a mixture of thick smoke and whatever cleaner or air freshener they used to cover up the smell. A motel or hotel room should have no smell - not smoke and soap that's meant to cover it up. It looked like people were living at the motel which means the place probably doesn't make much of a profit, so they can't do a tremendous job of upkeep. Basically it's a cheap motel and that's what you should expect. Lots of old motels smell like smoke and air freshener but that doesn't make it ok, especially when it was so strong I couldn't sleep.

Pulling into the property, it did look nice at first. Our room was very dark and dank and dated. Air conditioning was not running our arrival, so was very humid, which it's difficult to get rid of during her overnight stay.

The people were extremely nice and friendly. Karen the owner was so nice and recommended places to eat in the area. Outside property very well kept and beautiful stream to sit by and read or relax. Definitely will be back!

Great Inexpensive Lodging
Stayed there many times both for skiing in the winter and spring and fall motorcycle touring. Located near Hillsdale which has good restaurants. Perfect location for us. Management extremely helpful and accommodating.

Pretty clean, nice outdoor grounds, but spiders
The place was pretty decent, I only gave it "ok" because there were a few spiders in our bathroom. All in all, the location itself is nicely setup - decent amount of parking, and onsite has a bbq and area for eating outside that's well kept. The room itself was pretty standard, not too dumpy and pretty clean (except for the spiders). We also got a little mini fridge in our room which was a bonus.
