The only small inconvenience we experienced is that because of its location away from downtown, after 830pm,you will need to call for a taxi to return to the resort. The complimentary bus stops at 1920 (720pm),the local bus 21-2 stops running from 2030 (830pm)...

"I really loved this retro hotel on top of the mountainside. I had the mysterious looking onsen all to myself several times around 9-10 pm and it was so cool. The view is amazing and the food was very good. Just know that you are really in the countryside and to get to Onomichi it is going to take at least an hour using public transit.
