"Relaxed 24h in March. Lots of families here, but 28 deg c but still quiet at the pool. I as a westerner enjoyed my meals outdoors while it was as typically quite loud inside the restaurant. Both Chinese and western food. The western food was good. Room was huge with a softer than typically Chinese beds, good for me. Nice balcony with a sunbed. Very friendly staff and you could always find someone who spoke English."

"Mandarin Oriental is well located between BiJia Mountain and Lianhua Mountain, with walkways directly into both recreational parks. The air quality is superb and the restaurants within the Upper Hills shopping center are also highly recommended by the locals. The Hotel lobby is located on the 78th floor and the reception and guest service staff are outstanding! setting and its convenient location. I love it’s connected to a giant mall so I can just walk over for great dining options. It’s high end and quiet, though it is probably less grand than the other new 5-star hotels around. I highly recommend this place and will def stay here again and again- and you must see the

Thank you for that. But this is the worst Shangri La ever seen. Seems frozen in 1985. Even room key must be inserted, in the elevator, in the room door. I could write for hours how disappointing was this experience but it is useless. There are plenty of new and fully modern hotel around. The location...
