"Catalonia Goya is in the Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid. Nice, safe, quiet area but a bit far from the City Centre. The metro is right outside but we did a lot of walking. Lots of shops around and about a 7 min walk to Mercado de La Paz. Rooms were renovated, clean and medium sized. Appreciated the coffee machine, kettle, tea and other amenities. We traveled with my father who has a wheelchair and the adapted room was roomy with built in shower seat and pull down arm for support by the toilet....

"Family of 4 stayed for 2 night's in a one bedroom apt. Size was a little small but fine for 2 nights, would get the bigger apt if there longer. Location was excellent and staff at reception very helpful with early check in and late check-out.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and when our flights were cancelled, the staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us with the situation. set up was a bit weird with the reservations and mandatory caps (even if a man has no hair!) and was a bit of a let down for all that fuss - confusion over lockers, very little ambience, not amazing spa-like facilities. It’s really handy for public transport....

and sun beds was a real saviour in the Madrid Heat. Room was great, and the complementary snacks on the first night was unexpected and appreciated. Staff can’t do enough for you, and are always smiley and friendly.
Only slight gripe we have is with the reservation of sun beds to outside hotel guests. Whilst this makes sense from a business perspective, some days over 50% of the sun beds were reserved, but weren’t in use until after 18:00, but hotel...
