"Staff is outstanding. Room with breakfast is a great value for the price. The breakfast was very good and excellent compared to other places in the same category. The fitness center is accessible 24 hours and has a very good treadmill and ski master. Nothing much in the way of weights."

Excellent staff and service, gazebo grill, tasty breakfast in the fruit garden, pool, gym, own covered parking, all suites in traditional romantic southern style. Hardly recommended!"

"The good: staff was friendly and helpful, good location, near city centre, the sea park is at the hotel’s doorstep. The views from the higher floor sea rooms are amazing, room was spacious. Nice spa. Good breakfast.
The bad: no english tv channels apart from one obscure news channel ( but many in russian, few italian and german). the TV was not smart, unable to use netflix. The welcome wine bottle was delivered opened, which is unhygenic and a waste in case you dont want to drink it at that...

"Looks good from the outside but pretty average inside. Parking is not nearly enough for the guests of the hotel. The room has a weird setup with the sink in the middle of the room and the bathroom only has a small curtain to separate it from the room. "

"We had a great time and a positive experience in general. The location of the hotel is perfect - close to the beach and the main strip. At the same time it's in the quiet more family-oriented part of the resort and it was quiet at night. The food was quite nice as well and there were beer, drinks and ice-cream/snacks throughout the day.
The negatives - this is not a 4 star hotel. It looks and feels more like a 3* hotel. On the balcony there were rust spots and bird poo which was not cleaned....

"The location was ideal. It's in the city centre and walkable distance to everything. I paid for the room with a balcony (said it in the title add) but they gave me a room without one. The room was clean but there was a dirty white shirt on the bathroom floor obviously from a previous customer. So, the bathroom cleaning could be improved."

"We stayed in a very clean and comfortable room. It would have been nice if they had provided slippers in the room. Breakfast was quite sufficient. We were welcomed and seen off with a warm smile. We really liked it and are glad we chose Hugo Hotel. If we visit Varna again, we will definitely stay here again. A great place for families to stay safely."

"The room was comfortable and spacious and the hotel is in a good location near to bus stops, restaurants and a mall. The staff were extremely kind and very helpful to us, despite us having some particular requests. The little bar in the lobby is also very nice. Highly recommend!"
