"We checked in and we were so impressed with the property, room, and service, we booked a 2nd night's stay. Firepits make for conversation under the stars or in the lobby. The extra pampering for our pup was above average and special. If we lived in the state or ever come thus way again, this is where we would stay. Highly recommend this family owned and operated (for over 20 years) lodge. Fun for the whole family or just a couple."

!! My only negative comment would be regarding the “after hours” phone number. We had a toilet issue, had water on the floor, and the only number given was for lockout service, otherwise leave a message. Went to office right when they opened in the morning and a service person was there in under an hour to take care of it. But we worried all night about the need to use the toilet. Would definitely go back. "
