The rooms are far more modern and seem cleaner with the old carpet removed. "The hotel is in the process of being remodeled, and we were given a brand new room since I had forgotten to request a non pet room in advance. The hotel manager, Mr. Simmons was extremely accommodating, had a great sense of humor and very personable. Our grandsons enjoyed the pool, we were close to a number of places to eat, and breakfast was bountiful with a variety of great choices, much of which was homemade. This was an A location!"
