"Hotel was in ideal location for sightseeing, food, shopping and exploring. Great bathroom but the rest of the room was quite small and there was no drawers to place my clothes in for my 3 day stay - had to place my clothes on the window ledge or leave them in my suitcase."

"Wonderful property. Delicious breakfast served in beautiful Bonnie's Rooms are small but nicely done with amenities and comfortable bedding. Would have been nice to get into room few hours earlier. Cool rooftop bar area and helpful front desk staff. "

"Lovely quiet room, well designed, super comfortable. Sadly the USB and power points in the bedside units didn't work. Loved the decor, ambience and location. Appreciated the high quality bathroom fit out. If there was anything to imlrove it is speed of service at breakfast. It seemed pricey for slow service and not very good coffee. "

"My stay at the Diplomat was lovely. It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful, historic building. The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower too! I ate at the downstairs restaurant twice, both times exactly what I needed with good food and attentive service. I highly recommend the Diplomat and will be returning in the...
