"This is a good place to live with. Extremely convenient to the port and all the shops. The room is a little small and squeezed, I couldn’t even put my toothbrush in the bathroom. By walking around, it seems most of the hotels in Ilha Grande island may be small, but I am not sure. Overall it is a nice and convenient place to live if you don’t mind about the size of the room"

"We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Ancoradouro! The front desk staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The sea room was fabulous, and we had a drink on it looking out at the sea. The garden too is a great spot to read a book or have a drink. They also provide beach chairs that you can take out with you. Cleaners clean the room every day. The

"The location is fabulous. Directly on the main strip in front of the sea. Staff was helpful. After checking in the AC wouldn't turn on. Fixed that.. 2 hrs later it was still hot so a technician came and we went to dinner. Upon return at 1 am, it was cooler but not cold. So i let them know in the morning before heading out. When returned in the evening it was much cooler. The shower was not very clean..it had old stains. It was also very finicky.. usually scalding hot. I was on the 2nd floor......

"Good location five minutes walk from the beach and dock.
Check in was easy and the guy on reception very friendly. Room was a good size and clean with air conditioning.
