It’s an okay hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep and you want to be walking distance to Universal. We arrived to a room that was fine overall, however the bathroom definitely could be cleaner. We realized around 9pm that there were no towels, wash clothes, floor mat, hand towel, shower liner, or toiletries in our room. After we went to the desk and also called again, it took until nearly midnight to receive any towels, and they only brought us two towels, two washcloths, and two hand towels. Then we were charged for parking for a portion of the trip after already prepaying for parking on Hotels.com, and are having to dispute it with the 3rd party parking company because the front desk said that they cannot do anything regarding the charge even though they acknowledged that we should not have been charged.

Needs improvement. This is an old hotel, a 2 2 or 3 star hotel. No friendly people at the front desk, smelly on the halls and rooms have this horrible, dirty and look from the 70s.

Hotel lobby was newly renovated and staff was very kind. The room was dated and carpet was dirty and very worn. We asked for bedding for the pull out couch and the blanket was crusty, hard and not even folded it was in a wad. The TGI Fridays attached has great service and food was good.

Room as dirty, Towels had holes in them. HVAC made a horrible noise in the room that prevented sleep. Hardly ANY lighting, place is very out dated and dark!

Ok hotel
There were no cups in the room to drink out of. Took them about 1.5 hours before they arrived. Pull out couch not to comfortable for sleeping but suppose that is to be expected. Room was nice and clean. I was expecting the usual hair dryer but there wasn't one. Overall stay was ok we were only there to sleep.

I registered for a room that sleeps 6 but 2 of us had to sleep in the floor and they wouldn’t bring us more than 1 blanket so 2 of us froze all night. It also costs a lot of money to park her at the hotel, as if Orlando isn’t taking enough of our money. And they couldn’t even swing for a Continental breakfast.

You get what you pay for.
The suite was really nice and plenty of space for a family of 6. The carpet throughout was very old and felt gross on your feet. It was unusual that there was no sink in the little kitchenette section but the two full bathrooms were nice.

Dont be fooled
I would not recommend this hotel Tbey advertise shuttle service to Universal, but it is only a few times and you have make a reservation, which they dont tell you when tou check in, its on a sheet in small print that if you dont read immediately, you dont know. They charged 3 days of parking for a 2 night stay, over $80.00 Destination fees close to 50 bucks, that made this hotel over 200 a night, and that include all the uber fees to get back to the hotel because of the shuttle service. How are you supposed to reserve time to come back? Especially when the shuttle only goes a few times. All these extra costs were way more rhan anticipated. It says i think 15 walk to Universal which is not true. The location is deceiving and even though i walk all the time, i couldn't walk to and from the park. This hotel cost me more than a Universal resort hotel No breakfast, not even coffee, pot was always empty. Fridays next door was just as bad, the foid looked like it sat for a hour before we got it, literally made me sick Not happy with this hotel

Universal weekend trip
Just got back from a quick trip down. Lobby was nicely maintained but the rooms and wings were a little dated. Uneven rugs in the halls, strange water noises from what I assume was a utility room. Over all we had a decent stay right near universal. Rooms were large and dated but clean, light fixture didn’t work unless plugged/unplugged, the other light had a outlet on it that was too worn to be used, heater/ac unit had maintenance notes about the heat on it so we didn’t touch it but it was on automatically so we didn’t need to change it. Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small and could use a refresh as well but it was clean and served its purpose. They had dove amenities so that was nice too. Even with a travel team staying there it was very quiet we couldn’t hear much coming and going from other rooms and everyone was respectful with the noise level. Park transportation was easy to navigate on to but only has 4 runs to the park. Return trip home I believe only had 4 too but we ended up using an uber for our second day just for ease of time. Every employee we passed said hello and asked how we were and were fantastic to talk to. Will stay again for a quick trip but probably not for an extended trip.

Not impressed.
The water pressure was a trickle from the showers. There was no hot water, regardless of time for showers. The breakfast buffet was incredibly disorganized and they couldn’t find any spoons. The front desk was wildly rude and not welcoming at all.
