Ruidoso is a New Mexico village in the Sierra Blanca mountains offering ski resorts, national forest trails, waterfalls, gaming and many historic buildings dating back hundreds of years. The Ski Apache resort offers ski runs of widely varying skill levels as well as a terrain park. A trip to Lincoln National Forest offers waterfalls, serene green space and hiking trails. More adult fun can be had at Noisy Water Winery with tastings of locally made vintages. Grindstone Lake offers a serene escape from the crowds surrounded by beautiful unspoiled nature.
