Panama City Beach, on Florida’s Emerald Coast, is sometimes called “The Spring Break Capital of the World”. Its beautiful beaches, great nightlife, and countless theme parks and arcades make it a great place for a fun break in the sun. It’s not just a destination for college kids, either. Attractions like Shipwreck Island Waterpark, Race City and a Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum set in a sinking cruise liner make it a good choice for families, too.

If you’re looking for a slower pace, head to St. Andrews State Park, Shell Island or Conservation Park. The seas and lagoons around Panama City Beach are great for fishing and dolphin watching, and there are dozens of excellent golf courses nearby.
