Perfect Boutique
Beautiful boutique hotel quietly tucked away in the busy part of town near all the action but private enough to feel like you’re not in the middle of the mayhem. Beautiful large room, great water pressure, great AC.

The property was really nice and clean. It was a good place to relax. The breakfast that is included with the stay at Casa Carmen is not served on property. You have to go to the Hotel Rosita across the street. What you are given is what they call the basic breakfast, coffee, orange juice, melon slices and some toast. They try to push the buffet which isn't great. It was a real let down that that nice of a property with a full kitchen couldn't provide something a little nicer on site.

This is a beautiful old building behind the Rosita Hotel. It is in fact part of the Rosita. Very quiet, lovely pool and sitting areas. Close to the beach. Confusing registration process - go straight to the Rosita to register. We went to the address for Casa Carmen first, and had to walk our luggage back a couple of blocks. The entry to Casa Carmen is by key fob, and it does not have its own registration desk.

Great location at the beginning of Malecón. Beautiful rooms & courtyard. There are steps, so not for mobility challenged. Separate from main hotel (Hotel Rosita) but still can use they’re pool & restaurant.
I would definitely stay there again!

Quiet comfort
The room was very spacious and comfortable. It seemed that we had the entire building to ourselves for several days. Casa de Carmen Is much smaller than the two hotels it is associated with, so there was a nice cozy feel to it. It was quiet and not filled with screaming children. The location is right at the end of the Malecón and right next to the beach. Pay attention to the fine print when it says that check-in is at a different location. We had a small issue with the cold water faucet when we arrived, but they were very quick about coming to fix it.
