Location, location, location
To begin with, I filled out the pre-check in details online before arriving, but was told upon arrival that the morning clerk didn't input them to my reservation, so there was a slight delay to receiving my key. The location is great with plenty of food options nearby, and parking was more that adequate. The room itself was clean and presentable, but there were several cosmetic issues with loose wall moldings and floorboards, and the incredibly squeaky door (room 214) didn't fully close until you slammed it and then flipped the lock inside. I will say the bed was very comfortable, the heater/ac unit was more effective than most, and there was amazing water pressure. With a little more attention to detail, this could have been a 5-star stay.

The room was clean, except the two chairs in the room was so filty that we didn't sit on them at all. People were talking very loud and laughing for a long time around 9 pm in the parking lot, where the rooms were, was very disturbing.

Too many cigarette butts every where. Unclean and unsafe grounds for my dog to do business. Not worth the $20 per night pet fee ($40 I will never see again). The wall unit air conditioner annoyed me with the “hot-cold” temperatures. I had to keep getting up to deal with the “hot-cold” temperatures day and night. Overall, room was decent. Nice soft towels and pillows. Grateful for no chlorine bleach smells (don’t book at Hampton’s Inn as my back and neck were killing me, and the chlorine bleach smelled everywhere, as well as, towels and pillows were hard like a rock to work with). I’d stay at Travelodge again if the pet fees were dismissed or get those filthy trash picked up off the property grounds. They were nasty to look at and to allow my dog walk over it. Disliked.

Staff was very helpful and friendly (kudos Penny and Harvey), room was big and clean. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of fluffy towels. Room had small refrigerator with freezer in it, microwave and bathtub. There are cell phone chargers built into the wall outlets. Air conditioning worked very well and could not hear any outside noise.
