Restaurant host was not happy about his job. Dish I wanted was sold out. Automatic gratuity added to your bill, most expensive dish is fish and you have to debone yourself was hard to eat. Rice was dry. Room was nice and clean. Pool was cute, smaller than expected.

Oh, for all our one night stay at the day drift was very underwhelming. The property was cluttered. We had very large boxes outside of our room. We had to walk up seven steps with three large suitcases to reach our room, which was difficult for both me and my husband to navigate. There was an attendant there for a couple of hours showing people where to go, but he seemed to have quite the attitude when any questions were asked of him. The room was decent. The bed was comfortable, but I don’t feel that we would choose to stay at the day drift again.

"I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay, as the property significantly misrepresented its amenities and condition. Upon arrival, I found the hotel under major construction that was not disclosed at the time of booking. This construction completely obstructed my room's window, leaving me with no view. Furthermore, key amenities advertised on the website—including valet parking and an active pool area/evening bar—were unavailable. The lack of valet parking was particularly problematic as there was no designated space to even unload luggage.

The room was damp and mouldy, and as someone who suffers from asthma, it immediately affected my breathing. We had no choice but to check out within an hour of arriving and book another hotel. I have never had to do this in my life before, but this was a first. The customer service experience was extremely disappointing. Once they had taken our money, there seemed to be no interest in addressing the issue or helping us in any way. I provided photo evidence of the conditions, yet this was completely disregarded. The reality of the room was nothing like what was advertised in the photos. “Appalling” doesn’t even begin to describe it. I would strongly advise others to avoid.
