I stayed one night in August 2024, specifically on Hungary’s National Day. The hotel was a beacon of light and modernized Brutalist architecture, straight on the Danube’s bank. I appreciated the quick and very polite check-in staff, as well as the security around the hotel (the area was full of celebrants). In the room I found a beautiful set-up including a window-length couch from where I could admire the celebratory fireworks straight in my face (I got a River View room). The windows were surprisingly well sound-proofed: apart from the fireworks blown right in front, barely any sound passed through. The room service menu was delightful (chicken with greens; fresh fruit basket) and fast, and sleep was snuggly. In the morning I took advantage of their scrumptious and well-stocked breakfast with many options (including the basics of coffee & juices, sandwich materials, egg stations with omelette, waffles, pancakes; fruit, spreads, warm dishes, really aplenty), and then checked out.
I have no negatives whatsoever and would definitely return here whenever in Budapest.
