My daughter and I recently stayed at the Library Hotel for 2 nights and it was amazing! What a joy to leave the busy, loud streets of NYC behind and step into this quiet, calm, clean, beautifully appointed sanctuary.
The rooms each have a theme - along with 50 books on the topic! We had the New Age room and enjoyed looking through the various books. Comfortable bed/clean bedding, small desk and nice sized bathroom. The shower was tiled, a nice touch for a hotel.
The library was a wonderful space for 24/7 snacks and relaxation. There was calming music, a piano (which I played) and hundreds of books. Also fresh fruit, a variety of nuts and snacks, coffee, tea and a cappuccino machine. The rooftop bar is a great place for drinks and more substantial snacks, and the Madison and Vine restaurant is wonderful!
The front desk and lobby staff was warm and welcoming. We felt very safe at this property.
Just a few easy blocks to Times Square and the theater district! Also close to many parks. And great shopping/eating!
Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and will stay here again when in the city.
