Great area, great hotel, great staff. I timed the walk from Dupont Circle station - took roughly 10 minutes on flat ground, so generally very accessible. So Union Station is probably around 25-30 minutes away through a walk and the Red Line in total.
Overall, it was a very nice hotel stay, staff were very respectful and helpful at all times when it came to check in/out, but also general tourist advice. Bartender was great to speak to - gave recommendations on the area and the city itself and how to get around.
Rooms themselves were large, clean and modern. First thing noted was that bathroom grouting must have been relatively fresh. Sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable as you might expect, but everything was to a good standard. The aircon unit in the room itself was a bit loud however, and we had to turn it off at night.
Only problem we encountered were the room neighbours blasting music through the walls at 4:10am, but quick message to reception and that was sorted very quickly. What wasn't sorted immediately however was that there are speakers outside the building that play music for ambiance. These can defintiely be heard on the lower floors nearby even when windows are closed and locked. When we asked reception in the middle of the night, they looked into it but was unable to do anything in the time - but promptly gave us a new room to sleep in on the floor (again in the middle of the night) which is very commendable.
Overall - would happily stay here again.
