Booked the king bed and mentioned 3 people stay! They had only two pillows! Even asked for one more - they said they dont have pillows! Horrible horrible experience and customer service. All hotels provide 4/5 pillows even for 2 people. They provided 2 pillows for 3 people

Lots of wrongs from Day 1 - Need improvements

Only 1 staff and was away during check-in. Waited 20-25 min even after pressing bell several times. Only 1 lift and that too was out of order. The room had toilet cistern leaking entire time, staff checked did nothing twice. Only on last night new staff another room but single bed instead of king bed originally booked. No housekeeping done in rooms. During check-out was given invoice for 1 night for room exchange. Spent quite a time to explain that we paid everything upfront and room was changed due to issues in room. Reception then corrected everything and mentioned there was no note so she was totally unaware. Overall not good experience.

Mixed feelings

I had a less pleasant stay at the hotel. Overall the cleanliness was good and nothing was broken, room wasn’t too small or anything missing. But the check-in was erratic: the receptionist interrupted checking me in and started serving another customer while leaving me waiting to sort out a payment problem she had made herself in the process. The pillows in the room were causing me neck pain but they had no alternative ones available in the reception. Instead of investing in good soundproof doors the hotel has prioritized things like having a large tv screen in the rooms. There are rats in the area in general which I witnessed in the hotel garden too.

Check in was quick. Staff were kind. Rooms were clean. It's just a little far from everything else, so will need to take transit into the city centre. The nearest tram was about 8-10 minutes walk, which isn't too bad. Would be nice if they had a first aid supplies. Maybe they do. I asked for a band aid which they said they didn't have. Had to walk nearly 20 minutes in the dark for a grocery store to buy some.

Hotel is located near the highway, therefore noisy a bit especially with the poor windows quality. Hotel like any other of this price category, just a place to sleep, shower and get breakfast before you spend the whole day in the city center.

Convenient hotel outside of the city center

Really enjoyed our stay. Super quick access to the airport by a train (only around 7 minutes), and easy access to the city center by public transport (10-15 minutes). A few different tram stops around + a metro station also close by. Clean and well-kept hotel with a helpful staff. Air conditioning in the room was a nice plus. Would recommend!

It’s not worst, but not worth staying, either

The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to access both to Amsterdam city center and Schiphol Airport. BUT THIS HOTEL SURELY HAS ISSUES! 1) The front desk staff that checked me in told a lie that breakfast was included, even after he double checked it on the screen, and I had to pay €18.25 just for a small cup of fruit with yogurt. 2) The air duct in my room kept on making terrible noise all through the night, and I thought cheap hotel somewhere in downtown would be even quieter. 3) One day out of my four night stay, they didn’t do cleaning and bed making at all, even I was out of the room from 11am to 10pm. 4) The shower head is broken, and its cover (where water comes out) falls, which drove me crazy. 5) No matter I claim, night shift staffs told me to talk to their manager who is only at work during the day.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was of a good quality for the price, and incredibly clean. However, as my room faced the road, it could be a little noisy at times. Also, the bed in the king room isn’t a king bed, it’s two twins placed together, so they do come apart sometimes. On site parking was very convenient and reasonably priced.

Disappointing

Room was tired and small with oddly placed power sockets. The room was very warm, the air conditioning didn't really work and was so noisy that it wasn't helpful for getting sleep. The safe in our room didn't work either. The hotel was quite noisy in general. Reception was left unmanned at times and our card wouldn't allow access to the reception so we had yo stand outside buzzing the intercom until someone let us in. Reception staff were scruffy with unironed shirts. For the price point is was just about passable but we were not impressed

Good location for the price. Near Vondelpark. You can walk to the City Center. The Hotel and Room itself is a bit old, needs a little facelift. Room was okay, but could be a little bit cleaner. We found dust and it was very hot in there, so the climate has to work nearly every time and it was noisy in the night. The matress wasn't clean, there were dirt marks and the bany bed was broken. Beside of these issues, it was ok.
