Jin, the gentleman at the front desk was warm and welcoming. I felt very safe as a single woman traveler.
The room had a real kitchenette including a stove and oven, sink and basic dishes and pans. I didn’t use the stove/oven this time but will the next time!
There is a nice picnic area complete with grill and picnic tables on the property.
Stacey’s gift shop next door has an eclectic collection of items. I plan to return with more cash to purchase some gift items.
This was a ‘runaway’ night after a couple of very intense weeks, the perfect antidote!
The only potential issue was the tv WiFi had problems and wouldn’t connect. This is a potential problem in the mountains, not a hotel issue, so definitely bring a book in case the WiFi is inconsistent.
The water pressure in the shower and temperature control were great, better than at home :-)
I will definitely ‘runaway’ to the Sherwood Arms again. The vibe is peaceful, healing. It’s an easy walk to town, and easy access to explore the surrounding area.
