It is a nice town with a mixture of locals and tourists. The roads are narrow and consist of a figure eight of one ways. The restaurants were decent. I would probably go back there. I would love to visit the town next door, as well, Samaná.

Playa Bonita is super: nice, beautiful, organised with a good beach and Atlantis has a great kitchen. Las Terrenas itself is pretty unorganised, crowded and there is a road direct next to the beach

Beaches are lovely in the area but Las Terranas itself is very chaotic and busy. If you are driving yourself, be prepared for some challenges on the roads.

Son las playas más hermosas de RD pero la ciudad está sucia y abandonada, es una pena

We enjoy Las Terrenas. We like to stay just outside the town near Playa Bonita because it is very busy this time of year and it is best to take a Taxi if you want to explore the area since parking can be a challenge.

Lots of traffic and noisy at the end of the day but the beaches so close help forgetting that inconvenience. we would go back, anytime!

NEED to get rid of the gasoline powered mopeds by the locals. they are LOUD and have dirty exhausts. electric bikes would be best. OR maybe even old fashioned bicycles .

"I wanted to leave a genuine review. I initially was a bit skeptical prior to my booking however, my experience in this hotel was exceptional. For the price that it cost you absolutely get every pennies worth. Hotel rooms are modern and spacious. We had ocean view so we got to see the sun being through our room. There is plenty of dining options around and nightlife. I was quite surprised at so many tourist were walking the streets careless having a great time later at night. In my opinion that speaks volume of how safe the surrounding area is. The staff is very accommodating. I arrived a bit sooner and they did provide me with an early check-in. Also, I would recommend to asking in front desk for any activities that the hotel offers. I did that, and for a great price, my partner, and I enjoyed ATVs, horseback riding, a tour to some beaches, and the famous Limon waterfall, with lunch included. My partner and I are definitely going to be returning to the spot. It is now going to be my go to hotel when we arrive to Samana. "
"La habitacion estaba impecable, el servicio fue de primera. La unica observacion para mejorar es con relacion al parqueo el cual es un tanto incomodo."
"Sublime looking and breath taking is the location. I have been here numerous times and my family and I are always impress with everything. The beach is breath taking, crystal clear water and white sand. Numerous water activities available. I highly recommend this place. "
"Security is on site and makes parking easier if you show your room key. The food and drinks are amazing. The decor is beachy and property is well lit and very clean. Staff members are friendly and accommodating. There is a walkway along the beach to access other hotels and their restaurants. The bar and restaurant area can be noisy during the afternoon and evening hours due to their popularity with the locals and patrons of other hotels. The AC unit in the room seems to only truly cool the room down at night to a tolerable degree. "
