We stayed @ Grand Central for 2 nights it’s a clean room no smells or bugs & quiet place with a friendly neighborhood . My husband Robert enjoyed staying specially me the wife 😇 I love to watch outside peacefull with a beautiful view beautiful small town so relaxing . We don’t mind to recommend this Motel to our friends .

The hotel was old (as is almost everything else in Ely) but the hotel was clean, check in was easy, and the showers were hot! The beds were comfortable, although a little hard, but overall a decent place, especially for the price. We would definitely stay here again.

Cheap and quirky small town motel, you get what you pay for (in a good way). I crashed here for a night on a road trip. Quiet spot, contactless check in, payment, check out etc. means you don't even have to speak to another human during your stay (unless you want to, of course), which was new to me but a pleasant experience. Would def stay here again if I'm ever back on Hwy 50.

The bed was comfortable. The heater in my room was out of order, so the owners lent me a space heater. I'd stay there again. Quiet and safe.

My wife booked this for me for a two night stay on my way home from Quartzite. She likes to book quirky little place, and this was for sure that. Super easy check, clean, walking distance to everything, and I really liked that there was parking big enough for my truck and cargo trailer. This is an older motel, so of course it has it's little foibles, but I really like that it's not cookie cutter.

Cheerful, clean, and a comfortable bed. A real coffee pot in the room and the fridge had a freezer section. The "virtual desk clerk " thing meant no one was on site to straighten out the tv, though the manager (?) walked me through it by phone. And he came over and fixed a plumbing problem right away.

I really liked the remote checkin which allowed me to not worry about arriving late. The place had a really high rating on Hotels.com, so I expected it to be nicer. It was fine and possibly the rating reflected how nice it was for the money. Definitely worth it

Solo traveler stopping thru a road trip. Owners remodeling location. Still lots to do. Water heater went out in whole hotel thru the night, but owners apologized. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Great room check in and room lock situation with codes vs room keys. Strange odor in room, unpleasant. Apartment size fridge, microwave and coffee pot available. No breakfast on site byt theu do give a voucher for breakfast down the street which was nive and the giid was good.

It was a great place, especially for the price. The check-in process was super easy, the doors have keyless entry. The owner was super friendly. The place is not a luxury hotel by any means but it was clean. For a hot second, I thought that there was no shower in the room but it was just hidden behind the door. It needs a little paint, repair, etc. The bed was too firm for me personally. But the room was comfy and warm and just what I needed after a giant snowstorm and a 13 hour drive. I'd stay again.

Heaven at the end of a very long day. From our oversized parking to our late check in everything was perfect! The check-in via text was new to us but when getting in at midnight it was perfect to have everything done in advance. Then the room... yes its "Basic" but with its upgraded pillows, upgraded bedding, plenty of linens. Actually coffee in the room, (Super 8 in CA is removing coffee pots from their rooms!) an apartment sized fridge and large screen tv we felt like we were at a 5 star resort The room is spotless, the owner was very friendly on the phone. I will come back to this hotel based on the pillows on their own! Dont pass up this Gem because its off the beaten path its well worth it!

Room was just right for our needs. Centrally located in Ely with plenty of places to eat (Hometown Pizza makes a mighty mean pie), casinos, and shopping nearby. Although we required little room service other than clean towels the third day, it was always available should we have wanted it. Motel is being further renovated. Highly recommend.

They are great people. My reservation was booked even though they were full… software glitch ouch..! Ian booked me a room at another hotel at no charge.! Wow Just finding me another room for the same price would have been great…. But they went the extra 10 mile .!! Thanks a million..! Such customer service is super ..! Thanks
