"A community run Hotel. Interesting concept and clearly very important to the local community. Good continental breakfast in pleasant dining area. option for cooked breakfast (supplement) Friday and Saturday. Good range of evening meals (5 - 8 pm) Good quality and reasonably priced. Eat in the bar or the more formal dining area Room was very comfortable. Parking for 9/10 cars is plenty except if a number of non residents are present for meals or drinks. Bar well set up with good range and sensible prices"

  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Machynlleth, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted options as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you’re more likely to be informed if prices drop or new rooms become available, helping you secure a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in a hotel in Machynlleth. If you're in search of something a bit different, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the places you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can offer a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
