"We stayed at The Angel because we were attending a function there. The staff were very pleasant but it is quite basic. There is no breakfast and nearest car park about 5 minute walk. The rooms were ok but plenty of room for improvement. Rooms were quite cold, no carpet on floor so getting out of bed onto a cold floor woke you up! There are no staff over night at the hotel, I wouldn’t stay again."

The information on the website needs to be changed to say that there is no parking and directions to the nearest car parks added. "If you like Travelodge formica probably not for you. Older property with varnished skirtings and painted furniture but immaculately kept and spotlessly clean. The owners’ attention to detail is second to none, has everything you need, good shower and not stingy with the coffee supplies. Pleasant dining room and nice bar area, freshly cooked breakfast as recommended by many others. Even has effective cctv covering the carpark (we have a soft top car). Would happily stay here again."

The walk from the beach to the hotel is uphill, but it's only a few minutes walk and there is plenty of parking right outside the hotel."
