The Rest and Be Thankful Inn
"The stay was beautiful, Ideallic views outside, big car park, my room was quaint with an en suite and had everything I needed including a kettle tea, coffee and milk. Breakfast was included with the price and there was a choice, the staff could not do more for you, wonderful lovely people and staff, would highly recommend and will be going back myself, an amazing stay."
The Beach Hotel
"Great breakfast and friendly service!"
Quay Inn
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Whilst the accommodation was a little tired and could do with a refresh the ambiance was warm and welcoming. You felt at home."
Royal Oak Inn
"The location was great for us as we’d travelled for several hours to see the partial eclipse, planet alignment and milky way ‘show’ in August 2026 and this accommodation was just a few miles away from where we need. There was a warm, friendly welcome and our room was ready for us when we arrived. Our room was quite warm as it was in the middle of a heatwave, although the lovely lady who checked us in swopped our room to the coolest available. There was coffee and tea in the room and both the bedroom and the bathroom were very clean, looking as if they had been recently decorated. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was lovely and well priced. There was a fairly wide choice for breakfast, including ‘Full English’ and ‘Smashed Avocado with poached Eggs’. All yummy! This pub is in a quiet village, with the clip clip of horses from time to time. Very calming and peaceful. It has a car park and so any vehicles are safely off the road. We would recommend and would be happy to return."
The Castle Inn
"This overnight stay was perfect. Pub is delightful with such friendly helpful staff. We ate there too... all very nice. Our room was spacious ( No15) with good en suite."
Luttrell Arms Hotel
"A lovely building and room with a great restaurant"
Exmoor House - Guest House
"This a really high standard stay. The owners are very service minded and nice. The room was as good as you can get. Perfect, clean, nice beds, minibar and strong wifi. Parking is free. Breakfast was after your choice and perfect. Neighbor is a pub were you can have dinner."
Premier Inn Minehead
"Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand."

For a great value for money experience, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the town's key historical landmarks and cultural attractions. You can explore the charming small-town atmosphere, friendly locals, and beautiful secluded gardens, as well as visit the nearby castle and port. The hilly countryside provides a relaxing backdrop, making it an ideal destination for those seeking an affordable getaway.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Minehead, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com, you could find out about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you stay informed about opportunities to save. Additionally, utilise Smart Shopping , a handy comparison tool available via the app, to help you compare hotel prices and amenities. This way, if rooms become available or prices change, you'll be promptly notified to secure your ideal last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Minehead hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can, at times, offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead to a more affordable option.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Minehead's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
