Learn more about Paterson
Witness the thundering power of Great Falls, second only to Niagara among eastern waterfalls, from viewing platforms showcasing nature's raw force. Great Falls National Historical Park preserves America's first planned industrial city, where water-powered mills produced silk that gave Paterson its 'Silk City' nickname. Visit historic Hinchliffe Stadium, one of few remaining Negro League ballparks. Lambert Castle offers Victorian splendour with panoramic views. South Paterson serves up authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in 'Little Arabia.' The Paterson Museum displays everything from early submarines to locomotives, all manufactured in this innovative city that once supplied silk to the nation.

Doubletree by Hilton New York Times Square South
"Room was cozy and the bed was nice. Breakfast prices were a bit steep."
Lotte New York Palace
"Very good"
Hotel St. James
"This hotel is 3/4 of a block from Times Square, which is its best feature. This is an older property with minimal amenities, WiFi being the most prominent. I was given a room which I liked only to discover it was given to another customer (I suspect is an employee). I tried 2 other rooms only to settle for a less desirable room - away from the elevators and noisy fire doors on each side of the hallway near the elevators. My recommendation, request a room at a higher level and far way from the elevators / fire doors."
Motto By Hilton New York City Times Square
"The rooms were kept quite clean and I was impressed by the housekeeping following up to make sure everything was okay. I do wish the rooms had microwaves though."
YOTEL New York Times Square
"The stay was really good, the location i perfect,"

During your visit, you can enjoy the stunning waterfalls, explore charming shopping areas, and take in the beauty of the river and surrounding mountains. With family-friendly options, delightful dining experiences, and even some intriguing ruins, Paterson offers great value for money while catering to those on a budget. Prices for accommodations might drop during this period, making it an even more enticing time to plan your trip.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a trip to Paterson, you may discover attractive hotel deals by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For time-pressed travellers, the Last-Minute Deals section could offer discounted rooms close to your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see competitive offers. Enabling email alerts or push notifications may also help you stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, so you can seize any opportunity to save on your stay.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so showing some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay in a Paterson hotel. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher end, we can suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, potentially helping you to secure a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Remaining close to major attractions or city centres might offer convenience but usually comes with higher costs. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the places you plan to visit. You might explore independent hotels further out, which more often than not tend to be cheaper and can provide a more authentic, budget-friendly experience.
