The Horseshoe Inn
"It's a lovely pub with good food. Staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome. Lots of different styles of accommodation both within the pub and behind in the grounds. We particularly liked having a garden. Breakfast was really good. Bar staff very attentive. Room was large and bright and comfortable and had everything you needed for a short stay."
White Horse Farm Inn
"Clean and tidy, plenty of food choices and lots of it. Prices were pub prices and they catered for children's meals and had doggy treats. Staff were really friendly and they were so helpful with their knowledge of the area. Quite remote but a beautiful part of the country. We only had a few days but a good venue for going touring round the area."
The New Inn
"The staff made us do welcome. Stay was wonderful."
Cottage Lea's Country Hotel & Restaurant
"The hotel could do with some renovation. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and evening meal was quite good too."
Premier Inn Pickering
"The room and location were fine. The lady at check-in was a touch grouchy - but it was late-ish (10pm)."
Crossways
"Enough bedding for the depths of winter and a comfortable bed big enough for us two. An unspoilt Victorian house. Very good breakfast. Plenty of parking, very handy for Pickering & NYMR. We would re visit."
Middlehead Huts at Cropton Forest
"Lovely venue, perfect atmosphere and amazing views"
The White Swan Inn
"Lovely Place in the heart of town and friend my staff and great food served as well"
Bramwood Cottages
"Everything was clean and the cottage had everything you needed for a stay. The parking was a bit tight as it was in a courtyard, but I never had any issues. Walking distance to the centre of the town where all the shops and two supermarkets are available."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a better deal for your stay in a hotel in Pickering. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that could potentially offer a more affordable option.
- Consider your location: Choosing accommodation nearer to major attractions or city centres may offer added convenience but is usually likely to come with higher prices. For more budget-friendly options, consider staying in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to explore. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which can provide a more authentic and affordable experience.
