The Lake View Toya Nonokaze Resort

10/10 Excellent
"The staffs were world class, food was excellent with a lot of variety. The location can't be beat and the rooftop onsen was one of a kind experience. Taking a nice afternoon stroll along the lake was also very relaxing. The only problem was mostly the constant foul smell in our room, since we were only staying for the night, we didn't want to spend too much time worrying about it, but it did ruin our experience a little."

Niseko Northern Resort An'nupuri

Niseko Northern Resort An'nupuri

10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel! Comfortable rooms that are very clean. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were excellent and well worth the add on fee. The onsen is nice but a bit small and they should leave the onsen open till 10 am in the morning so you can get breaky they take a last soak before 11 am checkout. Stayed in summer so the rates were very reasonable. They had construction going but the improved rooms were fantastic. There is a ski field right next door and you can ski right up to the hotel and they have ski lockers. If I skied I’d stay there. It is out of the way so you need a car, there is a bus but I highly suggest wheels. Overall very happy with my three nights there fishing the local rivers."

10/10 Excellent
"Setsu Niseko exceeded our expectations in every way from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. All the staff were fantastic. The food we had there from breakfast to dinner ramen and pizza were amazing. But the best part was the size of our room and the views we wake up to everyday for 6 amazing days. Definitely coming back to this stunning hotel."

Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono

Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing hotel with great staff and beautiful suite. Breakfast was incredible but dinner options were limited. Could not get into their Japanese restaurant even though booking day in advance. When booking their Italian restaurant, they said they only had one table left by entrance door. I pushed for a window seat and said we would be out in an hour. Anyway, the restaurant was never more than half full and we never had to move. Made me wonder if we should have headed over to the Japanese restaurant and seen if it was actually full. Not sure what all the fuss was about but a bit concerning given there is nowhere else to eat nearby and this is the slow season. Where do people eat when the hotel is full?"

Visitors can enjoy budget-friendly activities such as visiting the historic village, taking in views from the lookout, soaking in the onsen, or exploring the local golf course. Other attractions include ski fields, cable cars, and the beautiful national park, all offering great value for money. By planning your trip during these months, you may benefit from lower prices, making it an excellent choice for those travelling on a budget.

Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you can make informed choices. With these tools, you could be the first to know if prices drop or rooms become available for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Rankoshi. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised atmosphere and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing the likelihood that you'll secure a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For rates that are usually more affordable, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
