8/10 Good
"Fun place to stay as a family! Next to amusement park, indoor and (paid for) outdoor pool. Onsen on property. Fun things like carousel, arcade and lots of (paid for) activities. A bit cumbersome that things like indoor gymnasium has to be booked one day before would have been better to be open for all etc (and more used), dated facilities (old pool/waterslide etc), and food quality is average at best at a high cost. Overall great stay and kids enjoyed it!"

The food we had there from breakfast to dinner ramen and pizza were amazing. But the best part was the size of our room and the views we wake up to everyday for 6 amazing days. Visitors can enjoy budget-friendly activities such as visiting the historic village, taking in views from the lookout, soaking in the onsen, or exploring the local golf course. Other attractions include ski fields, cable cars, and the beautiful national park, all offering great value for money. By planning your trip during these months, you may benefit from lower prices, making it an excellent choice for those travelling on a budget.
  2. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you can make informed choices. With these tools, you could be the first to know if prices drop or rooms become available for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Rankoshi. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised atmosphere and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing the likelihood that you'll secure a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For rates that are usually more affordable, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
